Laura Lee’s love of furniture began far before made by laura lee was even a thought. Inspired by her Grandfather and his love and gift of woodworking, Laura Lee started down her own woodworking journey. Her grandfather was able to create intricate stables for Laura Lee’s toy horses when she was young to refinishing broken pieces of furniture rescued from the dump to beautiful, ornate chairs fit for a king. Since her grandfather’s passing, the one way she stayed connected with his memory was to try her hand at her first refinishing project in 2014. Using the skills that her grandfather had taught her, she began sanding, staining, and painting her way into her own woodworking shop in Texas. Having successfully sold dozens of pieces from dressers, to desks, chairs to tables and more, Laura Lee continues to refinish furniture in Massachusetts.
